The Wall Street Journal Names Neo@Ogilvy One of the Five Agencies to Watch
Neo@Ogilvy was named one of "Five Agencies to Watch" in the Wall Street Journal's annual feature looking ahead at the most dynamic businesses for 2007. The honor follows the 2006 list which named Ogilvy an "Agency to Watch."
As the advertising industry evolves away from traditional media, agencies must rethink how they're organized, and Neo@Ogilvy -- along with Modernista, Universal McCann, DraftFCB and Google -- are all taking unique roads to drive change in the advertising business.
"Neo@Ogilvy: A unit of WPP Group's long-established Ogilvy agency, Neo was launched this year as a digital-media strategy specialist. Operating through nine offices around the world, Neo helps advertisers figure out how to allocate ad dollars among a sprawling array of new venues, such as online video and search advertising. It hit pay dirt quickly, winning business with Allstate, Six Flags and several other companies in different parts of the world. In November Neo was named to lead Eastman Kodak's global media strategy. Neo's early success makes it a firm worth watching, as marketers are showing more interest in agencies that demonstrate expertise and familiarity with new advertising methods."
